Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen has dismissed claims she is a "dark" person, and insists it's just the way she is perceived by the media.The 16-year-old has currently put her acting on hold to front her new rock band The Pretty Reckless.
And she thinks her grunge-chick look is to blame for the picture painted of her by the tabloids.
"Dark is a relative term," says Taylor - best known for her role of Jenny Humphrey in the hit TV drama.
"It just depends on what you consider dark, you know? I think some people think I'm a Satan worshipper or something."
The Pretty Reckless will be releasing their debut album later this year, while their first EP is out next month.
