Meet The Pretty Reckless In NYC - Physical Release of Light Me Up April 12th

Come celebrate the physical release of The Pretty Reckless' debut album on April 12th in New York City. The band will be performing and meeting fans at a special in-store at Best Buy Union Square. Fans can purchase a copy of the album at the store to gain access to the performance and a CD signing after the show.

Light Me Up debuted on the UK’s rock chart at #1, spending 6 consecutive weeks at the top of the chart. The single debuted on the main chart at #6. The video for the focus track, “Just Tonight” can be viewed at http://bit.ly/JustTonight. The songs are all written by Momsen, her producer Kato Khandwala (Paramore, Breaking Benjamin, All Time Low) and guitarist Ben Phillips.

“Her low-pitched purr, set against the choppy metallic kink of her band, showed off the sort of wrath that made Courtney Love famous. Except that Momsen sounded clearer and finer than Love ever could.” – The Philadelphia Inquirer

“The girl can really belt out a tune. She's got a gutsy, appealingly raw and grainy alto that puts her in the same company as Courtney Love and the young Sass Jordan.” – The Toronto Star

“Once Momsen shakes that Gossip Girl perception and more people give her band a shot, The Pretty Reckless might prove to be exactly what the female-fronted rock band niche has been looking for.” - The Dallas Observer

“The Pretty Reckless sounds like a hard-bitten bar band fronted by a woman who has to be old enough to have roomed with Courtney Love in Seattle in the '90s.” - The Houston Press

“Momsen's stage presence is magnetic.” - Phoenix New Times

"Fans expecting a shot of saccharine, bubble gum pop from The Pretty Reckless will be surprised at the rough-hewn sound of the band; Momsen's more Courtney Love than Miranda Cosgrove.” – The Detroit News
